Donít miss the return to Sheridan of the band that the New York Times calls "one of the finest bands in Celtic traditional music." With over 30 years experience in the world of traditional music, over 60 North American tours, 19 recordings and two Grammy nominations, Boys of the Lough (pronounced Loch) have reached legendary status. The Boys have established a reputation for technical brilliance and integrity combined with a ready wit and sense of fun.
The music ranges widely through traditional melodies of Ireland and encompasses fiddle music of Shetland, Scotland, and North America. Compelling dance rhythms, which give the music such life, will lift you to your feet. The evocative slow airs and beautifully structured songs, some in Irish, will have you dreaming of your bonny lad or lass.
