The pump boys, Jim (Matt Epp), LM (Mark Weitz), Jackson (Colin Stroup) and Eddie (Nick Johnson), sell high octane on Highway 57, somewhere between Frog Level and Smyrna, in Grand Ole Opry country. Across the blacktop the dinettes, Prudie (Susie Schatz Benson) and Rhetta Cupp (Shawna Goldhammer), run the roadside eatery called the Double Cupp Diner.
The guys at the station have been known to do some auto repairs, but only when aided by quantities of time and beer. The Cupp sisters celebrate their home cooking with the same zeal they bring to being neighbourly with the boys. This is their musical tribute to life by the roadside!
Pump Boys and Dinettes -- A Rock 'n Roll - Country & Blues Musical Revue, Directed by Liana Huey with musical direction by Kathy McNickle -- is the sort of show that feeds off the energy and pleasure of its audience, celebrating life and love in a small, southern town.
