Shakespeare's forgotten rock n' roll masterpiece!
WYO Gala 2010 heads to outer space with Return to the Forbidden Planet: One part Shakespeare (dare we say it, Fakespeare), one part sci-fi B Movie (The Forbidden Planet) and 10 parts rock n' roll!
Beam up for this high energy show featuring a bevy of hits from the 50's and 60's: Wipeout, Great Balls of Fire, Good Vibrations, Young Girl, Gloria, Pretty Woman, Shake Rattle and Roll, Born to Wild, The Monster Mash and many more!
Blast off with Captain Tempest (Matt Davis) and Crew (Melissa Butcher, Joe Campbell, J.R. Hunter, Pat Tomsovic, Leah Tannehill and Bob Wakefield) on routine Scientific Survey Space-flight Nine and find yourself crash-landed on D'Illyra, The Forbidden Planet, inhabited by sinister scientist Prospero (Mark Weitz), his delightful daughter Miranda (Brekken Baker), Ariel, a faithful robot (Chuck Hutton) and an uncontrollable tentacled monster, the offspring of Prospero's troubled Id.
Get into the cosmic swing of things at the WYO Theater with Return to the Forbidden Planet and don't forget your space suit 'cause this is going to be one galactic ride!
