Wyoming Plays the WYO is an annual showcase of the best of Wyoming musicians and songwriters, including young upstarts, local favorites and top professionals from throughout the Cowboy State and Wyoming's favorite applied philosopher J Shogren is no exception. His adventures have taken him from days as a trapper to an endowed professor. He splits his time between Wyoming and Sweden, where he worked last year - unlikely as it sounds - as the King's Professor. Even more riotous, J was a party to the Nobel Peace Prize as a member of the United Nations Team working on climate change plus he plays a mean guitar.












J will be joined by opener, Andy Hackbarth who weaves the world of flamenco and classical guitar into an arsenal of upbeat, contemporary-folk songs you’re sure to enjoy.
