Dave writes and sings of a West that many miss: a West of endless emotional landscapes, unbroken by borders between people, times, and places. His songs and stories flow smooth, linger long, and leave a lasting impression.
A recipient of the Wyoming Governor’s Arts Award, Dave has become a treasure to audiences both within and beyond his home state. In addition to producing seven CDs of original music, he has written and recorded themes for historical documentaries, created compositions for government, commercial, and private sectors, and developed immersive educational modules that explore pivotal themes in western history.
Dave performs solo and with his bands, and has shared stages with artists including Chris LeDoux, Lyle Lovett, and Ian Tyson—playing fiddle, piano, and guitar along the way. Join us at the WYO on September 13 for an evening of storytelling and music that captures the heart and soul of the West.
