The Met Live in HD

The Met: Live in HD, the Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning series of live high-definition cinema simulcasts, opens its 18th season in October 2024 with a live transmission of Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffman. The 2024-2025 Live in HD season also features Met premiere and live transmission of Jeanine Tesori’s new opera Grounded; new stagings of Strauss’s Salome and Verdi’s Aida; the first-ever Met Live in HD transmission of Beethoven’s Fidelio, along with Puccini’s Tosca; Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and closing with a new production of Bizet’s Carmen.
