Miss Wyoming/Miss Wyoming's Teen is the official State Preliminary Competition to Miss America/Miss America's Teen.
The Miss Wyoming Opportunity is a scholarship program dedicated to providing young women throughout the state of Wyoming with scholarships and skillsets to further their educational goals and career aspirations as well as a platform to showcase their unique talents and community service initiatives. Miss America was founded in 1921, and since the implementation of its scholarship program in 1945, it has provided over $150 million in financial aid to young women in the U.S., making it the country's largest scholarship provider.
Young women from around the state will compete in 5 phases of competition to see who advances with the prestigious titles of Miss Wyoming and Miss Wyoming's Teen.
Phases of competition include:
- Private Judges Panel Interview
- Health and Fitness
- Evening Gown
- Talent
- On Stage Question
