“Songs Of Hope, Acts Of Kindness” Concert Broadcast Featuring the Tabernacle Choir At Temple Square
The Tabernacle Choir At Temple Square is celebrating 100 years of performing at the Hollywood Bowl with a world tour. This tour will conclude at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. The “Songs Of Hope, Acts Of Kindness” concert will include music from the Tabernacle Choir and other well known artists.
Purpose
The theme “Songs Of Hope, Acts of Kindness” is a focus on women and children in need. We have partnered with the Legacy Pregnancy Center in Sheridan to donate items for postpartum baskets. Donation boxes will be placed at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints buildings in Buffalo, Sheridan, and Colstrip. There will also be a donation box at the event or you can take items directly to the Legacy Pregnancy Center located at 847 Coffeen Ave in Sheridan.
In conjunction with this event we are utilizing a free service, Justserve.org, provided by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A non-denominational platform that connects community volunteers with nonprofit organizations and service projects. You can download the app to see what service opportunities are available in your area.
When and Where
On June 26th a one time broadcast of the concert will be aired at the the WYO Theater. We will have a mix and mingle with refreshments at 6:00pm and the concert broadcast will be from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
This is a free event but tickets must be reserved. Seating is limited to get your tickets now!
