Organized watch parties throughout the US will celebrate the Tabernacle Choir's historic 100th return to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on June 26. The 120-minute program will feature collaborations with special guests artists, inspirational selections, and beloved Choir favorites.
Purpose
The theme “Songs Of Hope, Acts of Kindness” is a focus on women and children in need. 100% of the Los Angeles ticket revenue, along with additional audience contributions, will be matched by the Church of Jesus Christof Latter-Day saints and donated to charities supporting the well-being of women and children.
Locally we have partnered with the Legacy Pregnancy Center to donate items for postpartum baskets. A list of items can be found in the QR code below. Donation boxes will be placed at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints buildings (Buffalo, Sheridan, and Colstrip), the WYO theater the night of the event, or you can take items directly to the Center located at 847 Coffeen Ave in Sheridan.
In conjunction with this event we are utilizing a free service, Justserve.org. This is a non-denominational platform that connects community volunteers with nonprofit organizations and service projects. Download the app to see what service opportunities are available in your area.
