Help us say Bon Voyage to Marva Craft with this year’s Fall Premiere production of the updated 2022 version of Anything Goes!
It’s high-jinks on the high seas in this classic boy-meets-girl musical comedy, filled with mistaken identities, unlikely romances, outrageous schemes and plenty of tap-dancing fun. Set aboard a glamorous ocean liner bound from New York to London, Anything Goes follows a colorful collection of passengers whose plans quickly become tangled in a whirlwind of love, laughter and wonderfully ridiculous complications.
With music and lyrics by the legendary Cole Porter, the show features some of musical theatre’s most recognizable songs, including “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” “Blow, Gabriel, Blow” and, of course, “Anything Goes.”
Featuring a cast of your favorite local performers, this de-lovely community production is packed with big personalities, clever comedy, memorable music and all the theatrical fun audiences have come to expect from the WYO’s Fall Premiere.
And this year’s production is especially meaningful as we celebrate Marva Craft and the many years she has shared her talent, energy and love of theatre with the WYO community. What better way to send her off than with a show built around adventure, laughter and one unforgettable voyage?
Make a night of it on Premiere Night as we bring back one of the WYO’s most legendary Fall Premiere traditions — the pre-show party at Frackelton’s. Join friends, fellow theatre lovers and members of the WYO community for a festive kickoff before heading to the theater for opening night. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Marva, toast the start of another Fall Premiere and set sail for an evening of music, comedy and classic Broadway fun.
So grab your boarding pass and join us for a joyful evening at sea. With romance in the air, music on deck and surprises around every corner, one thing is certain — anything goes!
