Repertory Dance Theatre returns to the WYO

With works thatrange from bold contemporary pieces to elegant modern classics, RDT continuesto push the boundaries of movement and meaning.

In addition to theshow at the WYO, the dance company will conduct several classes with community organizations. Those classes include partnerships with Meadowlark Elementary School, Easterseals Wyoming, Wyoming Girls School, WYO PLAY Creative Aging Class, Merit Arts Company, Donna’s Dance Academy and Sheridan College.

Utah's Repertory Dance Theatre was founded in 1966 as a fully professional modern dance company through a cooperative effort involving the Salt Lake City community, the University of Utah, and a major grant from the Rockefeller Foundation. This partnership was created to establish a company, which would keep alive that unique artistic achievement which is American Modern Dance.

Whether you're a dance aficionado or simply curious, this performance invites you to experience the power and poetry of the human body in motion. Tickets for the show cost $28 for adults, $24 for seniors and military and $18 for students. Tickets for children ages 12 and younger are $12 apiece. Tickets are available through the WYO box office, online at wyotheater.com or by phone at 307-672-9084.
