The WYO Performing Arts and Education Center will launch its 37th season with an unforgettable evening featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash and Grammy-winning musician, producer and songwriter John Leventhal.
Rosanne Cash with John Leventhal will take the WYO stage Sept. 8 at 7 p.m., opening a new season of live entertainment in the heart of downtown Sheridan.
A four-time Grammy Award winner, Cash has built a remarkable career spanning country, Americana, folk, rock and roots music. Known for her deeply personal songwriting and distinctive voice, she has created a celebrated body of work that includes enduring favorites such as “Seven Year Ache,” “Blue Moon with Heartache” and “The Wheel.”
Joining Cash is her longtime collaborator and husband, John Leventhal, a six-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist, songwriter and producer. Together, Cash and Leventhal bring decades of musical partnership to the stage, pairing masterful musicianship with thoughtful storytelling and songs drawn from across Cash’s celebrated career.
“We couldn’t imagine a better way to begin the WYO’s 37th season,” said Erin Butler, executive director of the WYO. “Rosanne Cash and John Leventhal are extraordinary artists whose music is timeless, honest and deeply moving. This performance sets the tone for another season filled with exceptional artists and memorable experiences for our community.”
Individual tickets for Rosanne Cash with John Leventhal go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 5 — along with access to an exclusive pre-show experience. Season tickets will go on sale the following week, giving WYO patrons an opportunity to secure their seats for another exciting year of performances.
And this is only the beginning.
The WYO will reveal additional artists and performances from its 37th season soon, with a lineup designed to bring a dynamic mix of music, movement, storytelling and live entertainment to Sheridan audiences.
