Open to students in grades 4th-8th, the Sheridan County Youth Choir SCYC builds connections between community, musicianship, and joy. The Sheridan County Youth Choir is split between the Boys Choir and the Girls Choir. Auditions are held in the Fall and Winter leading into each of the two semesters. Each Semester concludes with a concert–one in December and one in late April.
Regular rehearsals take place on Mondays from 5:00-7:00 PM at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center.

Tech Rehearsal: Monday, December 7, from 5:00-7:00 pm
Winter Concert: Tuesday, December 8 - Kids arrive at 5:30 pm, Concert at 7:00 pm

Parents of returning and new students all need to sign and send back a Release Form for the 2026-27 school year.
The set fee for participation is $115 per student per semester (Fall & Spring). Due before September 28!
Families may make payments through the following methods:
Cash & Checks may be returned to the WYO during regular practices or to the Box Office.
Pay-What-You-Can Option: Instead of scholarships, we are offering families the opportunity to name their own participation fee amount as necessary. This option is open to everyone.
