Open to students in grades 4th-8th, the Sheridan County Youth Choir SCYC builds connections between community, musicianship, and joy. The Sheridan County Youth Choir is split between the Boys Choir and the Girls Choir. Auditions are held in the Fall and Winter leading into each of the two semesters. Each Semester concludes with a concert–one in December and one in late April.
Regular rehearsals take place on Mondays from 5:00-6:30 PM at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center.

First Practice: Monday, January 12, from 5:00-6:30 pm
Regular Practices: Mondays from 5:00-6:30 pm in the Tandem Rehearsal Hall at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center.
Tech Rehearsal: Monday, April 27, from 5:00-6:45 pm
Spring Concert: Tuesday, April 28- Kids arrive at 5:30 pm, Concert at 7:00 pm
Parents should register singers who are new to the Youth Choir here through this Online Form!
Parents of returning and new students all need to sign and send back a Release Form for the 2025-26 school year. Please send these back with your singers by Monday, January 26th.
The set fee for participation is $115 per student per semester (Fall & Spring). Due by March 2, 2026.
Families may make payments through the following methods:
Cash & Checks may be returned to the WYO during regular practices or to the Box Office.
Pay-What-You-Can Option: Instead of scholarships, we are offering families the opportunity to name their own participation fee amount as necessary. This option is open to everyone.
