Sheridan native Doug Andrews returns to the WYO Theater for an evening of music with Irish singer-songwriter Gráinne Hunt.
Doug and Gráinne first met nearly a decade ago while performing at a festival in Vienna, Austria. Since then, they’ve built a long-distance musical friendship that includes Gráinne’s guest vocals on Doug’s latest album, Movin’ On. This show marks the first time they’ll share a stage together in the U.S.
Doug’s Americana sound—shaped by years of touring across the U.S. and Europe—combines folk storytelling, country roots, and a lived-in vocal style grounded in experience. His songs often reflect a deep sense of place, both past and present.
Gráinne Hunt brings a rich, contemporary folk sound with a clear, emotional voice that’s earned her comparisons to Tracy Chapman and Natalie Merchant. She’s performed with artists like Glen Hansard, U2, and Mary Black, and has recently appeared at Folk Alliance International and Celtic Connections. Hunt has spent 2025 touring the East Coast, Midwest, and Australia, building buzz ahead of her upcoming show Queer Arrivals debuting this fall at Liverpool Irish Festival.
Together, Doug and Gráinne offer an evening of thoughtful songwriting, close harmonies, and stories that bridge continents and genres. A rare collaboration in an intimate hometown setting.
